Welcome to the Coaches Corner page. This page will be updated by the coaching staff with the latest announcements, schedule changes, & downloads that you will need throughout the season. Please check back often to make sure you are up-to-date with Valley Football. 

Maroon & White

The 2010 Maroon & White game will be held on Saturday, August 14th. The game will be played at Griegos Elementary School since we are still trying to stay off our field which was re-sodded in March. The game is scheduled to start at 9:00 am See you there!

Schedule

The 2010 schedules for all 3 levels are in! See the important downloads section for a copy. Last season several changes were made after the schedule was released. You can follow VHS football and receive notifications if any changes are to the schedule are made by signing up for an account with the APS Athletics Calendar website. Click here to visit the site.

In an effort to comply with the new budget restrictions APS Athletics has made the decision to drop one game from both the Freshman and JV schedules. The Freshman team will no longer be playing against Manzano and the JV will not be playing against Highland. Please sign-up with the APS Athletics Calendar website to receive the latest updates for all Valley Athletics.

Physicals

As of April 1, 2010 all physicals can be used for the 2010-2011 school year. It may seem early but please make an appointment soon to get your student-athlete a physical check-up. The earlier these things get taken care of, the more we can concentrate on the upcoming season. Please use the physical form available for download on the left side of this page. Mr. Hogan will require ALL physicals to be completed on this form. Thanks!

Grades

With the end of the school year approaching quickly it is important that all student-athletes maintain focus. Each student must meet the minimum requirements for eligibility in order to compete in the upcoming season. Each student must maintain a 2.0 GPA with no more than 1 'F'. Although you can make up as many classes as possible for credit during summer school only 1 grade may be applied for eligibility purposes. That means if a student has 3 F's on his final report card, he will be ineligible to compete in the fall. If you have any further questions please contact the counselors office for further information regarding eligibility.

Nike Order Form

The new Nike order form is now available. This year Ultimate team sales has allowed us to create your own package based only on what you want. The polo shirt will be our gameday wear next season. If you have already purchased one there is no need to buy another. Please see the form for additional information.
